This graduate school works from a basic philosophy of study and education from an international perspective with the aim of fostering internationally-minded human resources able to grasp and expertly analyze from a wide viewpoint the various issues of the rapidly globalizing world, and with the motivation to act decisively for solutions. To realize this aim, the school has two specializations: International Relations and Comparative Culture with an interdisciplinary curriculum to match the wide-ranging interests of our students. Our three attached research centers, established to act as sites of international studies, strive to engage in advanced research on issues in international society accompanying globalization while ensuring the fruits of such research are transmitted to our students.
